I loved it. With all the background information already down from the first book, I felt like this book had more meat to it. Loved the characters and the pace of the book. There was never a dull moment and I never got bored. I also love the fact that Beatrice didn't just fall right into Gio's arms the moment he showed up again. Like most people in real life, she had to forgive him and learn to trust him again. Excellent book and very well rounded.
