There was a LOT in this book. The entire book seemed darker to me. I can see why some people would be disappointed by the ending or this book in general but I found it to be an excellent conclusion. There will not be a fairy tale ending with no scars or nightmares. These people went through a life altering experience that they have to live with for the rest of their lives. Most of the book I felt sorry for Katniss but I know that not everyone is meant to be a movie styled hero. She's just a young girl who had to deal with the burden put upon her. Very good series.
